I finished the book and overall, I did like it. I’m not sure I would recommend it for everyone, depending on what kind of story they want to read about. Going through working through their emotions with them was interesting and watching how they ended up makes me happy. I wouldn’t read this book again but I don’t regret reading it.

The ending of this book is getting better for me. We are starting to get more answers about their mom and her role with Lynton Baltimore. Adam just told Salem about his relationship with Jess and Salem doesn’t care, as long as Jess will talk. Excited to see where the mystery part of this book is going.

Slow start but started to pick up during chapter 9-10ish. Each chapter is left with a cliffhanger now and I kind of like it. I think it is focusing more on the romance than the mystery aspect. Jess is finally starting to open up although I understand her reluctance and her protectiveness over her sister.
