I started this book about eight years ago at a low point in my life, and it got lower while reading this book and even afterwards. I picked this book up again. I used to ask myself all the time, “does it ever get better?” The answer is that “it does get better.” I wish Sylvia Plath knew that. As she lives on in the words she has written, her own life was cut short by s*icide. May she rest in internal peace.
