Uh Oh. Abrupt transition to international intrigue and swarthy men kidnapping and gang-raping (this occurs off-camera, no descriptive creepiness) a comely Hollywood damsel. I don’t know about this one…

Lots of in depth descriptions of the homes & decor of Hollywood (fictional) characters who work in the entertainment industry (TV & movies) and some swarthy guys -probably Arabs, the protagonist figures- trying to murder same. Usual witty repartee and diatribes against Hollywood to be expected from Westlake (writing as Samuel Holr - same name as the protagonist).
