Still no idea WTH happened to Meg, but I have to say, the UFO cult thing makes for an interesting part of the plot.

UFO cults are something else, I mean the mental gymnastics alone are not for the faint of heart.

Not too far out of the gate and it is already off to a great start. Not sure if main character is having hallucinations, is psychic, or saw a ghost.
