And xaden, I cannot. Turned venin in the last chapter. Violet realized the red marks, almost broke me.

Meh more alliance with the fliers. This book is an emotional roller coaster.
Xaden and Violet really have their issues but they are ENDGAME, if they aren’t my heart will break.
“How long do you think it takes for someone to fall out of love?” “Less than a minute” 💔💔💔 I had to stop to cry.
Xadens second signet, sparring session to hash out the issue. I’m praying this book doesn’t break me

Violet is one of my favorite fmcs she is so strong in this book going through trauma and learning to work through it.
And of course her and xaden do make up and had me tearing 🥲
The plot has progressed with the war that is going on. Glad to see Dain redeem himself.

The whole story is a ride. From learning about what’s going on with Xaden and the revolution he has built secretly with the marked ones.
Then he graduates and gets posted far away.
I really hated that they only got to see each other once a week. The no communication drove me nuts
