Yes, there had been a difference between truth and lies, but truth could still be shifted. There were narratives here, not just facts. Point of view mattered. Where one lay in the grand web of interactions, would inevitably skew the way those interactions would be interpreted. And until now, it had been prescribing importance to everyone's point of view, but it's own. It couldn't rely on being told what to think.

"A dying world and a dying people... Amsley didn't know what to do. Didn't know how it fit in this universe. How to fix any of it. So it shrank the universe in its mind. It discarded the problems that were too big for it to hold. Too complex for it to solve. It focused on what it could do right here, right now."

Very interesting. Liking this. Slightly frustrated with Unit 4's distrust of this group still. And that it hasn't learned what a human is. Yes, this feels realistic. Still bothers me though
