Do y'all read the character profiles that are put in the back of my print books??
I'm writing new ones right now for... REASONS 👀 and I always wonder who actually enjoys seeing them.
I write them before I write the book as a way to get to know my characters and kind of cement them as "real" in my head.
After that, they start talking so loud it's impossible to get them to shut up lol

I love reading the character profiles.
I read them! I love them because it helps me get into the story so much more🥰
I love reading them! It’s like an insight to your process which I love! And feels like I know them better after reading it. Like a dating application 😂
I like reading them. Makes me feel like I know the characters better
I do! I love seeing the character’s background and helps me piece all the characters together

I feel like so much is given away on the back of books. I like to be surprised and not know too much.
I usually take a read through when I'm done the book. It's kinda fun to see the deeper side to the characters.

I find them useful. I found that they even help explain some of the motives I didn't understand or found confusing.
