this book is like. uncomfortably fully of insults about how “brainless” the hero and his friends are. this reversal of all previous sentiments is just weird and annoys me even more

save me from unqualified heroines who prioritize their need to be involved in problem solving over efficiency, propriety, and reason. girl boss!

so many vague references to 2 characters from book 2 in this series who are not actually present (yet? i guess). please, i do not remember a book from 2020 at all
