YAY!!!! THIS IS BETTER THAN I HOPED!!!! They're platonic life partners!!!! As someone who has two of those, this is amazing to read. Both my LP's are married & that doesn't change anything between us.

My only issue with this story is something that just bugs me in fanfiction in general: if a character has no interest in romance in any way shape or form, they MUST BE GAY PAIR THEM UP!!!
Todoroki is ARO/ACE coded, not gay, just like Frodo is aro/ace. Neither canonically show any interest in romance, but all the fanfics HAVE TO FIX THAT.
tl;dr: LEAVE ARO/ACE CHARACTERS ALONE AND TODOROKI IS ARO/ACE
