I went into reading this book presuming it would be horribly boring. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I was incorrect. On the contrary, Genesis and Exodus were quite engaging and entertaining. I've just started Leviticus and hope the trend continues. I don't wish speak on the philosophical and spiritual impact of the work until I have read it thoroughly cover to cover.
