I was definitely not ready for all the turns the story takes in its final third!

I was initially quite disappointed with the book, it starts slow and drags on for a while as it builds up its peculiarly unique world. But as I reach the second half of the book, the story is more interesting than ever. I’m glad I stuck around and didn’t give up in those early pages.
