I don't know how to rate this. On one hand, I hated the ending and didn't want it. But on the other, it's 100% what I wanted and I know deep down that the ending would be what it is. Everything was too neat. I don't like beat. I like the messy and the not sorted.

I may only be 8% in (with an essay due in 4 hours that I haven't started) but holy fuck. I know what I'm reading tonight once this essay is done. It's pulling on my heart strings already and I want to know more. Even if it isn't the type of book I normally read. Jessica Hawkins has fully got me invested in the story already.
