“Jeremiah (in chapter 31) is not teaching us that the New Covenant will be the death knell of the Decalogue as a unit. To the contrary, he is teaching us that the New Covenant is the death knell of the Old Covenant. The basic, fundamental law of the Old Covenant is assumed into the New Covenant, not replaced by it, according to Jeremiah.”

“It is this author’s contention that some of the major tenets of New Covenant Theology are not biblical and do not accurately reflect the teaching of the Bible. I also believe New Covenant Theology is troublesome because it produces a reductionistic, myopic and truncated view of Christian ethics. This book offers a biblical critique of New Covenant Theology.”
