Ch.17 happy hour with Zach. As he walks her home she says "I deciding I can kiss Zach the next time if he asks me out again". This is the 2nd or 3rd grammatical errors. They bug me!

Nate & Juliette's flirty texts are cute. She goes to breakfast with Zach, Kevin & Amanda. Feels connection with Zach but nothing further happens. Cassie finally opens up about Cody & her friends in LA. She's shady! What a friend to NOT have...sleeping with guy to get back at his girlfriend. Crazy!

Cassie, her roommate, tries to give her a make-over, to no avail. Cassie buys expensive & clingy. Juliette buys bargains & sporty. They had fun @football game.

Juliette goes to swim team happy hour & meets "abs guy", Zach. They flirt & are playful. At her soccer game a few days later, Juliette gets the wind knocked out of her. Dr. Nate Lombard happens to be there & helps her when she's hit. Not much talk but she feels chemistry.

Juliette described her work place & co-workers. Her co-workers are described unflatteringly & nerdy. The only girl is her close friend Hita. I love their banter back & forth. Her roommate, Cassie, is a confident, beautiful, blond model. She doesn't understand the troubles of dating because the guys she dates fawn over her. She tells Juliette that she has a lot to learn about guys, flirting, dating.

Great opening. That always happens...just when the dream gets good, you wake up.
