When it comes to the books vs. movies debate, I tend to appreciate how books are allotted more time to develop the story. But in this case, the movie gives so much more purpose to these important scenes. It’s the small things like how the fear simulations are navigated by the characters that adds a richness to the story in the movie that the book is unfortunately lacking.
