I don't like the hero/romance (yet). He wants to stay married to his wife (the heroine) so he can finally bed her because sleeping with other women no longer has its appeal. I'm anticipating the murder mystery more than the romance at this point, but it's early yet.

They married when she was 16 (in Boston) because her father was dying and he wanted her and his business taken care of. They never consummated the marriage since she was too young. The hero left to run the London office for three years. During that time, he had mistresses. She shows up in London to ask him for an annulment but doesn’t tell him it’s because she plans to marry someone else from America. So far, she’s not hurt by his past dalliances.
