I just learned a crap ton about Canada geese!

"Our daily walk reminded me of the words of Rose Schneiderman, a labor activist, feminist, and socialist in the early twentieth century: "What the woman who labors wants is the right to live, not simply exist-- the right to life as the rich woman has the right to life, and the sun and music and art... The worker must have bread, but she must have roses, too." (P 125-126) ❤️

What an introductory chapter. Hurricane Katrina destroys your new home and while excavating the remnants you realize that all you had in your home poisoned the Earth. What a wake up call.
