This made it onto my list partly because I used to work at the same hospital as the author and knew he was a respected Orthopaedic Surgeon. The book somewhat relieved my Evidence Based Medicine fatigue and made me resolve to think more critically but by about half way through I’d pretty much had enough of the message being relentlessly hammered home (but not by a robot- apparently they add cost not benefit!!)
