Jesus. There was a lot of rape within a small amount of pages. I got to say, I started crying when Ethel says her last goodbye to Fitz. She's the character that got me wrapped up in the books in the first place. I might have missed something but where the hell is Billy? Did he die? Did I miss something?

Definitely not as captivating as the first two books. I do like knowing more about the times and pop culture references. The characters just aren't as appealing. And the women are more two dimensional than Ethel or Daisy. Looking forward to finishing this so I can start Game of Thrones hahaha
