This is a terrific story about riding a bike around the world. The author starts in Italy. When she rides in the US (from Boston to Seattle), it is during the summer and she typically rides 125 miles/day. She stops around 9:00 pm and locates a place to stay the night. By the time she is ready to look for a place to eat, most restaurants are closed. Unlike Europe, where dinner starts around 8:00 pm.
