Chapter 6 - "Control Systems Analysis and Design by the Root-Locus Method"

Skimmed onto Chapter 5. I get the idea. Just that thing about shifting into state space model from page 74

Skimmed through to Chapter 4, on page 100. The concept of a transfer function seems simple. Just that some mathematical maneouvering from the equations into state space is not intuitive to me.

At page 73 and I'm baffled by the transition from equation 3-26 into a state space model

Into Chapter 3, page 64 ... modeling a machine based on Newton's law

At page 43, section 2-7 "LINEARIZATION OF NONLINEAR MATHEMATICAL MODELS"

Before moving any further into "State-Space Representation", I need to clearly understand Laplace and Fourier Transform. (At page 36)

Trying to figure out a control system equation from a spring loaded mechanical system. Example 2-2.

Onto "Modeling in State Space"
