This book is so engaging I am finding it hard to put it down and get to sleep. As a new author I am trying to figure out why its so compelling and then trying to learn what techniques I can use in my novels. Although I already have a towering TBR stack, I plan to order more books by Victoria Holt. Has anyone read her novels that they would recommend?
