I read this book and the second back in middle school and I was obsessed. Re-reading as an almost 27 year old adult, still an amazing book and such an interesting take on pro-choice vs pro-life and this “compromise” if there’s ever a future that this becomes a thing, I’m horrified of it. Will always stand with pro-choice
