Okay I am enjoying this second chance story so far but I gotta say, the flashback chapters where they are 14 years old are kind of pulling me out because they are talking like adults. It’s just not believable. Not their interactions but the dialogue and expressions do not feel like young teenagers. Okay, diving back in….

All the hints are there (obviously his mom is involved) and I’m sure the author is going to reveal all, do like that they aren’t playing games but it’s really frustrating that they don’t just talk about it. He’s all yes I’ll tell you but for now let’s just enjoy reuniting. it’s been weeks but still no talking . She tells him she needs to know, he acknowledges he needs to tell her then……nothing
