Intrigued to hear what you think about this one! My mom loves a bunch of her other books but hasn’t read this yet

I liked it! Despite being quite a chunky book, it was a quick and pacey read. The storytelling was really clever - lots of different perspectives and changes of time (without ever being confusing). The characters had depth and nuance too.

All in all, a solid 4.5 stars I think. I marked it down just half a star as it wasn't mind-blowing / a story that will stick with me etc. But definitely enjoyable :)

I'm not sure if I would read many more of her books after this one, despite liking it. Just because I read a few of the synopsis for her other books and they sounded a little similar to this one! Maybe I'll pencil them in as fun holiday reads ☀️
