Predictable ending, the romance tries to hard to be a “darker” version of The Mummy, grammar mistakes in the spanish used, geographically incorrect in some cases, but overall it’s a nice ride. The story blends well with history, and the main character is pretty enjoyable.

Ending predictable, “romance” kinda bland and tries to hard to be The Mummy but “darker”, grammar mistakes in the spanish used, geographically incorrect in some cases, but overall it’s a nice ride. The story blends well with history, and the main character is enjoyable. It could’ve had more grit, but it’s a fantasy romance novel after all.
