As I look back, I recognize that the Spirit of God was showing me a deficiency in how the church was understood and structured and how discipleship was defined and practiced.
The reason the teenagers I worked with were able to make disciples of Jesus was that they believed they were the church.
For them, church wasn't something you go to. Church was something you are.
