I need authors to stop interlinking their series 😭 I get that it is to help them sell more books, but it's distracting and I hate it

Yes!!!! My OCD makes it so I have to buy all of them just because they are interlinking and I cannot have it on my bookshelf without all of them!!😆

As soon as I realise an author is trying to push an interconnected series onto me, it puts me off the new characters/plot and whatever I'm currently reading. I'm way too stubborn for it 😭😂
