He's a cop, ffs. Doesn't he know that's assault?? At this point -- 44% -- I dislike every single character in the book. They're not just poorly written; they're nasty people I wouldn't associate with in real life.

DNF. One of the most horrible books I've ever tried to read. There are no likeable characters, none. MC Jenessa Jones is so stupid she's offensive. Logan Alexander, another side of the "romantic triangle" is an absolute sleaze bucket. Nerdy Michael Baxter is a spineless jerk, when he isn't assaulting Jenessa. Review to come, and it ain't gonna be pretty.

This is a very, very badly written book. So badly written, in fact, it makes me angry. Usually I just laugh and/or roll my eyes, but I don't get angry.
