Sofia’s Reviews > Sherlock Holmes: The Complete Novels and Stories, Volume II > Status Update

The disappearance of lady frances carfax: not the most exciting tho I did not predict the ending. Also love how Watson and Holmes debrief at the end of every story

I wanna go back in time and solve an old fashioned crime in the 1800s

The Adventure of the Dying Detective - attempting to read before bed every night… anyway this short story was good (all of them are) but wasn’t my fav. Smart plot but slightly predictable.

The Adventure of the Red Circle - this one was so interesting and exciting to read. The twists were so good

The Adventure of the Cardboard Box - alright, didn’t dislike it but wasn’t too entertaining to read. Testimony was cool and interesting tho I’ve never read a story who had that

Finished The Adventure of Wisteria Lodge and it was good. Not my fav story so far but still very interesting to read

The Final Bow - interesting already… I like Holmes’ theories

Just finished The Valley of Fear and WOW the ending is CRAZY!!! You go from liking McMurdo to hating him, then liking him to absolutely LOVING him and omg I respect him so much. I mean he put his life in crazy danger and I CANNOT believe that he was a detective all along?? Also I was not expecting him (Douglas) to actually still be alive in the beginning!! The way Holmes figured that out is INSANE!!

Why are there two characters named Jack that just confused me so much lol

Wow I did not see that coming AT ALL!! And I’m so excited to go back in time to see where this all started
