Pretty convincing argument that the crown was not really interested in pursuing Whalley and Goffe after about 1662, and certainly not post 1665. This is in line with the crown’s general unwillingness to intervene aggressively in New England before the very late 1670s and 1680s, by which time the regicides were dead.
