"I think that whole time, all those centuries, I was just looking for you.”
He's so down for her I love it, and I believe she's was his only mate tttw idc

“But would you bleed red, or black?”
“I’ll bleed whatever color you tell me to.”

"The table rattled as Rowan’s knee banged into it."
Them talking down to each other in front of Arobynn was so fucking funny😭😭😭😭 I love their little banter and chitchat before they discovere they are mates😋😋😋

“Come a little closer, and I’ll show you just what five centuries can do.”
Lmao Lorcan is so funny for this

“Are all your nightclothes like that?”
“So curious about my negligees, Prince. Whatever would the others say? Maybe you should issue a decree to clarify.” He growled, and she grinned into her pillow.

“You’ll find that she tends to do what she wants, when she wants, and doesn’t ask for permission first.”
this is why I hate him so much, he never give her the benefit of the doubt just straight up thinking the worst possible scenario. They could never make me love you no matter what, he's like Matt from tvd ugh

Perhaps he should have. If he’d known that she would come back like this, act this way, he supposed Ren should have learned who he was risking his life for. He supposed Nesryn deserved to know, too."

wtf is he thinking??? I love Nesryn I really do but in the beginning here she's just a support character nothing else what was Chaol thinks that she deserves?? that was her secret to tell wtf is wrong w this man???
