Notes:
(1) Well, I didn't think it was possible for this series to feel more generic and ordinary than the first book. Yet, voilà.
- Not bad, per se, just nothing to get you excited about where the story's going.
(2) It seems that Patience had no patience about keeping her own no-killing rule.
- This is like "Hit-Girl" lite levels of massacre. Extreme, but not over-the-top.

Notes:
(1) These issues went by super-fast. I'm no speed-reader, but some only took me five or six minutes tops.
- Mostly, it's the lack of plot and dialogue and a heavy focus on action.
- Now, if the action was exciting, it could have been something.
(2) Patience Lee is not interesting at all. She wins because she's just better than everyone else. That's a dull superpower.

Notes:
(1) Steve Niles takes over the series. He's never impressed me so I'm not expecting much.
- Though, it's not like Mark Millar was firing on all cylinders.
(2) Romita's also left the book, which is far worse a downgrade.
- His art's the main reason I rated the first book as high as I did.
- Say what you want about his art style, it's distinct and always an attraction.
