Quite good so far

Halpin and/or his editor has endeared himself to me by listing the ISBN of a fictitious cookbook on Poppy's Gran's kitchen shelf (Erasmus is demonstrating his eidetic memory) and having it link back to this very book. He knew some nerd was going to look it up. I did.
Now, of course, I need to know if other editions will have the same story about the nine little monkeys or not.

You know those books you've acquired (and forgotten how) which sit innocuously and silently on your shelves for years? And you just look at them and think, "Why did I get this one?" And they just collect dust and exist for you to frown at occasionally?
Well, if it weren't for reading challenges like the MGMadness one I'm currently doing, they might languish there forever.
This is book 6 and could score big. Maybe.
