Really shocked to read that Audiophile praised this narration for its Scottish, English and American accents. The Scottish and English accents are appalling, distractingly so. I'm guessing the reviewer was possibly from the US to think this sounds even remotely accurate. It's such a shame as I normally love T.Kingfisher but the narrator is ruining it.

Switched to ebook and started from scratch. Already I'm enjoying it so much more. Not just the accents but it turns out this book is full of dry humour that I'd completely missed due to the narrators poor delivery. I've found myself laughing repeatedly so far.
