These stories are unsettling, yet they keep me wanting to read more. Some are on the verge of horror and even folk horror. I really wasn’t expecting this when I picked it up.

I wish the first story in this collection came later in the book. It almost put me off reading the rest. But I've felt a strong connection with the second and third. I'm glad I continued reading!
