I’m also prob completely put off of books published before the year 2010 too.

And esp books with this setting

I don’t have enough words or patience to sit here ranting about how fucking annoyed I am bc of this goddamn piece of shit book

First of all

Idk what the actual fuck that image was on the last page when the book ended, I can’t even
Disturbed and baffled

I’m stuck on the fact that the villain of the story was and is the fmc

And she wasn’t even punished for it
Neither was her ex

So many loose ends and shitty conclusions

Ugh it’s nearly ten pm

At least I can say I read most of this book

Enough to really bash on how shit it was

It’s almost eight thirty pm on a Tuesday night
I’ve had a scatter brained day
I’ve been feeling off and almost crappy

My only goal rn is to finish this stupid fucking book before nine pm

Then I can happily go back to keeping the hope alive that I’ll stumble upon an actually decent book to read

I haven’t mentioned enough how shit this writing is

Not just the contents but the lack of editing
The constant errors

Pretty sure there were also several instances things were just misspelled or replaced with the wrong names

That tussle the fmc had with her “ex” Jeff while he was drunk and trying to rape her was bad enough

It irked me in some kind of way with the way she responded, or lack thereof

Then the mmc Ben stepping in and He basically tussled her to the ground, I mostly skimmed that chapter so maybe I’m wrong

But that but also read like assault too.

Or maybe there was and I wasn’t paying attention

I was so fucking confused reading this

I forgot time travel was involved bc barely any time had passed

But the main problem is this fmc.

I fucking hate her.

I’m only reading this bc one reviewer recommended it in the comments of a time travel romance I’d just finish reading today. (Forever His) (It was shit)
The reviewer claimed this book/author along with a different book/author-was much better than what I’d read.
