It's ridiculous that in one part the author sites that drawing boundaries has always been a method in all civilization than speaks of the indigenous people in North America in a different context (who have a different relationship with the idea of territory which is precisely one reason why they were attacked by federally paid fugitives) - are they to say they weren't a civilization? Preposterous
