Dramatic pivot from the letter writing to the fake boyfriend/girlfriend scenario
The characters in Jimenez’s books feel incredibly real. In particular the MMC, often in romance books I feel they can be too perfect, Jacob clearly has his struggles as depicted throughout the book which adds incredible depth to his character and serves to make the relationship between him and Bri richer.
