I'm on page 2 and I already have questions. It says "xxx decided to relocate to the U.S.A., to a little scenic town called Maren Springs, a few hours away from the metropolis of Orkney."
And I thought, Metropolis??? I've never heard of it. Let me look it up. According to wikipedia it has 21,349 citizens. How is that a metropolis?

He knew then that she hadn't recognized him. how could she? She was just a year old when they had parted. He had heard she had the same skill of identifying his presence (???), but that could have been exaggerated since it didn't seem like she knew who he was.
