my g we’re entering poorly managed (counter)transference territory here.. “A patient delegates his unacceptable feelings to his therapist… she holds everything… feels it for him…feeds his feelings back” this kind of dynamic needs to be carefully managed or else it can interfere with treatment. and it’s only one possible dynamic of therapy not the essence of it, how reductive it is to claim so.
