Absolute quality.
Well written or should that be translated I am never sure. An excellent Police procedural with the Author taking us back in time to when Erlendur was just starting our as a constable, and investigating a cold case in his own time. Atmospheric authentic clever with superb characters throughout and plenty of surprises along the way. An excellent book totally engaging from first to last page.
