It was interesting that Mari tells her dad about her relationship with her mom since her mom has Bipolar. I remember being in an unsafe situation at school growing up but now I stand up for the next generation of special needs kids and prevent abuse in them. The school district I was in doesn't prevent abuse in the special Needs program in schools which can lead to PTSD and trauma in special needs kids.
