I was not prepared for this book. Based on the pull quotes and summary I was expecting a timeline love story with a modern conflict. I was not prepared for so much sexual abuse and exposure in this story. I’m not a huge trigger warning person but I definitely wish that I had read the Goodreads reviews on this one.
