Wow that is a strong reaction. I kinda thought Animal Farm is quite a funny. And a fun read. I'm ambivalent on 1984. Unfortunately his writing is often touted against an unequivocal attacks against communism. I kinda thought he is attacking totalitrianism. That being said, I could see how Animal farm paints a bad picture on communism as an ideology. Which is not a good thing.
