I am struggling to get through the Palatial chapters! I am sure it’ll become relevant in the end, but if I wanted to read about a princess and an evil count I’d just read high fantasy. As it is I’m also re-reading GoT which is tbh better than this, so those chapters invite unfavourable comparisons.

Interesting-it took me a few chapters to get into this one but I did by the end. It’s up for a reread now in fact. I love your reviews though - bring me back to reality in cases where I might be a bit over-enamored of something!

I am at page 345 so far.There are a lot of interesting Sci-Fi concepts along the book but no helps to drive the plot along. Is there even a plot? I feel no overal direction so far.
Ahh and the dialoge is such a bunch of hot air with verbal conflict that does not have any consequences at all.
