Having been born in 2001, I've never spent much time thinking about The Gulf War. It's surprising that this subject isn't discussed more considering how essential it was to the emergence of the age of American global hegemony. As the Soviet Union waned, the Gulf War proved that the United States and her "rules-based world order" would not tolerate challengers.
