I'm not sure we will finish this. Even J is getting bored. Her comment was "they get you at the beginning with all the fantasy stuff, then, meh." My comment, "I'm not a fan of vampire romance, especially boring vampire romance." How did this book get sequels? (BTW, I love slow books. But this just isn't very interesting.)

It’s OK. Not really my style, It’s traditional, linear, ordinary prose. I’m used to the time/pov jumps and rolls and poetry of modern fantasy. But, I started reading it with J so I guess we’ll be finishing it.
