Serious trigger warnings; the description of this novel is irresponsibly coy— this is a book about a girl who is groomed and victimized by her father. It also discusses suicide and infant death. I am only 20% in.

It is very sad and disturbing. I am continuing because it is not being romanticized and I anticipate a complex development in the main character. The writing is astounding.
