Maybe I am the only person who reads this story who isn't a fujoshi/fundashi because the articles of seen for The Heart of Thomas is saying something different than what I read.
This story is not a yaoi nor is the focus of the story about sexuality.
This is why I say reviews on manga especially shojo shounen ai and bishounen manga are unreliable for anything but trigger warnings and even then those can be unreliable.

This book has become one of my favorite stories.
The story is very intriguing and the characters are written well.
I prefer this story over Kaze ki no uta.
I wish The Heart of Thomas had more than 3 volumes.

There has been no nudity or fan service in this story so far.
Also the main character Julius isn't written to be simply a lovestruck fanboy of the second and third lead characters.
In fact he receives part of his backstory in volume 1 instead of towards the end of the series like Kaze ki no uta writer has done to Serge.
So far The Heart of Thomas is a more entertaining story than Kaze no ki uta.

Eric resembles Thomas but their personalities are completely different.
Also he can be seen by other characters than Juli so I guess he isn't a ghost or phantom.

Thomas' death is starting to haunt Julius' dreams because Oscar has been teasing him about Thomas' suicide.
I find it distasteful for Oscar to make Juli out to be the one obsessed with Thomas out of nowhere when he is the one who kept mentioning Thomas.
Also it's strange that Oscar told Elric (on his first day at their school)called Julius unstable and that Thomas was possibly murdered.
This situation is strange.
